"The time is always right to do what is right."

- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

War.  Cannabis.  War.  Deforestation.  War.  Eroding Educational System.  War.  Hemp.  War.  Military Industrial Complex.  War.  Oil Industrial Complex.  War.  Partisan politics.  War.  Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex.  War.  Prison Industrial Complex.  War.  Etcetera, Etcetera, Etcetera.

At what point do, "We the people...," decide enough is enough?

We need to do something big, yet simple.  It has to change things for the better, but can't burden the people or the budget.  Thankfully for us nature has provided a universal solution to a multitude of our problems, in the form of cannabis and hemp.  Our government has acknowledged the benefits of cannabis to us with U.S. patent #6630507.  Thus, effectively placing a patent on cannabinoids, which are the main healing property naturally produced by the cannabis plant.  You don't have to believe me, please feel free to do your own research.  You'll come to find that cannabis it isn't deadly after all, and that it has more benefits to us than just getting high.

Does anyone else feel like we're spinning our tires in the sand, actually destroying our great nation from within; due to corruption, greed, and an ineptitude of our elected representatives?  Along with all that; multiple corporations, government institutions, and industrial complexes are assisting in the untimely death of our: Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, our nation's sovereignty, the environment, humanity, and life on this planet as we know it.

Believe it or not, just about all the major issues in this country and the world are created by us, humans.  That means we can resolve them.  That includes cannabis being illegally illegal, which our government has already unknowingly demonstrated for us.  With the ratification of the 18th amendment in 1919 and the 21st amendment in 1933, these two amendments effectively established the prohibition of alcohol along with the eventual repealing of said prohibition.  Thus, our government demonstrates that it must ratify an amendment to the U.S. Constitution establishing the prohibition of cannabis, for it to be federally outlawed.

As a solution, what if we ratify an amendment to the U.S. Constitution in similar fashion to the 21st amendment, allowing the individual states and territories of our great nation to determine their own legislation and regulations pertaining to cannabis?  We only have 26 valid amendments (remember, the 21st amendment repealed the 18th amendment) to the U.S. Constitution, but at times their appears to be an indefinite amount of legislation designed against us, the people.  Oh yeah, don't forget the 16th amendment ratified in 1913, which gave our government the constitutional grounds to impose a tax on our income.  This forever changed the way we balance our personal finances.

"The best way to predict your future is to create it."  These words given life by Mr. Abraham Lincoln are very empowering, if an individual will let them seep in.  Once we begin to become aware of how events, both positive and negative, effect those around us and construct future events as a result of our actions, then we can begin to forge a new and bright future for all.
